Nomination Process

Each year ASAE accepts peer nominations for three highly coveted honors, Academy of Leaders Award, Key Award, and Professional Performance Award. By nominating a peer, you recognize that the contributions of this individual are advancing the association industry in a positive way and they are deserving an opportunity to receive this great honor. We encourage association professionals to nominate their outstanding colleagues who serve as Industry partners, CEOs, or Association Executives. Check out the Eligibility page to see if your colleague is deserving of an Individual Honors Award.

The process for nominating a candidate is short and simple. The nominator will submit a nomination form that includes the nominee’s name, email address, and recommended award. No other information is needed at this stage. The nominee will then be contacted by ASAE Staff of their nomination and are encouraged to apply for one of the Individual Honors Awards. The nominee must complete an application themselves to be considered for an award.

Application Process

If a nominee meets the minimum eligibility requirements, they will be invited to apply for the awards. However, one does not have to be nominated in order to apply. Anyone who meets the requirements is welcome to apply. Applicants will share contributions and cases of impact in the areas of ASAE, the association management industry, the industry they serve, and to diversity.

If you would like to apply, go to the Apply tab and log in using your ASAE login credentials to begin. You are able to save your application, leave and return to it for completion. For questions about the application or the application process, please contact honorsawards@asaecenter.org someone from our dedicated task force will get back to you.
